The Problem


How to launch a new product and stand out in an extremely crowded market with a very small marketing budget?


The Idea


The BodyShaper name immediately announced news that was likely to be of interest to the target audience, women. The difficult issue was the market was saturated with products packaged in white to look serious and scientific so after much discussion with the client we decided to focus on creating some glamour for the product. The end result of this product is to help you look good so we clothed the brand in black with the logo hot foil stamped in teal to standout, be eyecatching and add some bling! The technology aspect was explained through sales assistants and through TV infomercials on the Shopping Channel.


The Result


After only six weeks BodyShaper achieved 1 million dollars in sales. The brand has been rolled out across Australia through Myer, David Jones and the majority of the major pharmacy chains and will shortly be launched in Asia and Europe. The brand is in great demand and is providing a fantastic source of revenue for Phosphagenics while they develop other applications for their unique TPM® technology.
